WAXHAW, NC ::::::::::: Mrs. Diana Coughtry Shiflett, age 62, died Sunday, June 17, 2012 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill. She was born October 5, 1949 in Endicott, NY and was raised in Waynesboro, VA, the daughter of the late David Laird Coughtry and Virginia Eggleston Coughtry and was the wife of Paul E. Shiflett. Mrs. Shiflett was a homemaker, a member of the US Patent Club and a member of Bethany Church of Weddington. Mrs. Shiflett is survived by her husband, Paul E. Shiflett of the home, a son, Paul David Shiflett and wife Heather, a daughter Allison Phillips and husband Jonathan, a brother, David Coughtry, II, a sister, Sandra Davis, 2 grandchildren, Ian Matthew Shiflett and Ava Elizabeth Shiflett all of Waxhaw and many extended family members. Mrs. Shiflett was preceded in death by a sister, Judith Shenda. The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mrs. Shiflett will be 7:00 pm, Friday, June 22, 2012 at The Chapel of Hartley-Burgess Funeral Home by Pastor Bob Williard.
