INDIAN LAND, SC::::::::: Mr. Derik Justin Miller, age 18, died Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Carolina Medical Center - Union due to an automobile accident. He was born October 1, 1992 in Rock Hill, the son of Paul L. Miller and Rebecca "Becky" McClain Miller. Mr. Miller was a Senior at Indian Land High School, a member of the CCI Car Club and on the Drumline with the Marching Band. Derik is survived by his parents, Paul and Becky Miller of the home, a sister, Jordan Miller, paternal grandparents, Judy and Jim Miller of Rock Hill, his aunt, Gayla Sutton and her husband Scott and a cousin, Aaron Sutton of Indian Land, and his aunt Lesley Miller Courtney and his cousin Alex. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Derik will be 3:30 pm Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at The Chapel of Hartley Funeral Home by Rev. Lee Ayers. Burial will follow at Indian Land Baptist Church Cemetery. The Family of Derik will receive friends from 2:30 - 3:30 pm, Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Hartley Funeral Home.
