LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Denver Norris Tenney, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021.  Denver was born February 19, 1935, a son of the late French Rude Tenney and Florence Kimble Tenney and was the husband of Joan Jacobs Tenney.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.  Denver was a proud member of the VFW Honor Guard.  After retirement, he worked with Habitat for Humanity.

Denver is survived by his wife of 27 years, Joan Tenney; two sons, John Lopez and Michael Lopez; three daughters, Kathleen Blackshaw , Florence Tenney, and Lorna Hollen,; six grandchildren; and a sister, Sylvia Kister.

Denver was preceded in death by a son, Marvin Tenney; and his parents.
