LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::::Mr. Dennis Hampton Lane, age 49, of 3110 Pink Plyler Road died Monday, February 1, 2010 at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte. N.C. He was born February 10, 1960 in Lancaster, the son of Mr. Crawford Lane and Mrs. Mary Phillips both of Lancaster. Dennis worked most of his life as a quality control clerk at Harris-Teeter Distribution Center in Matthews, N.C. and owned Lane's fine Quality Jewelry both buying and selling on Ebay.Dennis is survived by his parents, Mr. Crawford Lane and Mrs. Mary Phillips and step-father Mr. William Phillips of all Lancaster, 2 brothers Eric Lane and his wife Phyllis and Brett Lane both of Lancaster.The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Dennis will be 2:00 pm Thursday afternoon, February 4, 2010 at Camp Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Randy Mellichamp and Rev. Don Waldrop with visitation to follow at the church.The Family of Dennis will be at the home of his brother Eric Lane 3115 Pink Plyler Road, Lancaster.
