ROCK HILL, SC – Delbert Ray “Del” Sellers, 53, of Lancaster, South Carolina, passed away on June 4, 2026. Born on February 6, 1973, in Lancaster, SC, Del was the beloved son of Donna Sellers of Lancaster and the late Delbert Ray Sellers.
Del was a devoted husband, loving father, and faithful friend. He cherished his family above all else and adored spending time with his children. For 25 years, he shared a loving marriage with his wife, Anne Brunson Sellers, building a life filled with love, laughter, and countless memories.
Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Anne Brunson Sellers of Rock Hill, SC; his children, William Ray Sellers and Khaki Alana Sellers, both of Rock Hill, SC; his mother, Donna Sellers of Lancaster, SC; his sister, Beverly Adams and her husband, Joey Adams, of Lancaster, SC; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Del was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Ray Sellers; his paternal grandparents, John P. Sellers and Lillie Mae Sellers; and his maternal grandparents, Henry Charles Clark and Mary Dale Hayes.
A passionate sports fan, Del could often be found cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and the South Carolina Gamecocks. He was also a devoted dog owner and dearly loved his faithful companion, Buggie.
Those who knew Del will remember his kind heart, his love for his family, his loyalty to friends, and his ability to make others smile. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories he leaves behind will be treasured forever.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Burgess Funeral Home, Lancaster, SC. It is requested that friends wear Carolina Gamecocks or Dallas Cowboys team colors in memory of Del.
