Obituary

LANCASTER, SC ~ Ms. Debra Faye Bennett Ingram, age 69, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022. She was born November 21, 1952, in Lancaster, daughter of the late Coke Hammond Bennett and the late Kelsie Faye Hunter Bennett. Debra loved to fish, play bingo, bowl, play on her iPad, and watch The Carolina Gamecocks, especially Carolina football, baseball, and softball. She loved her children, grandchildren, her dog, Chloe, and all her family dearly. They each held a special place in her heart.

Debra is survived by her three daughters, Melissa Steele (Randy Jr.), Bridget "Nikki" Cox (Ricky), and Amanda Baker; six grandchildren, David, Zach, Brianna, Gabe, Jake, and Caity; her brother, Danny Bennett (Kathy); and her two sisters, Lois Porter (Cullen), and Judy Phillips (Neal).

Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Coke and Kelsie Bennett; and her sister, Lynn Keller.

The Celebration of Life Service for Debra will be 3:00 pm Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Steve Anglin. Private inurnment will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park at a later date.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service at Burgess Funeral Home. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association, 55 W.
