LANCASTER, SC ~ Ms. Deborah Debbie Laney Roberts, age 60, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018. She was born May 20, 1957 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Clarence Yates Laney and Elsie Hough Laney. Debbie was employed with Rick Chandler, Attorney. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and loved her grandchildren.

Debbie is survived by a son, Dustin Roberts and his wife, Brittany of Heath Springs; two grandchildren, Landry Roberts and Reeselane Roberts; a brother, Dale Laney and his wife, Jill of Lancaster; a sister, Wanda Laney Sifford and her husband, Darryl also of Lancaster; and her best friend, Julie Barton of Lancaster.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Debbie will be 4:00 pm, Thursday, January 18, 2018 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Kelvin Hinson.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 4:00 pm, one hour before the service, at the funeral home and suggest memorial contributions be made to the Ronald McDonald House for Landrys Wish, 2901 Colonial Drive, Columbia, SC 29203.
