ROCK HILL, SC ~ Mrs. Deborah Marie Nearing (Ellis) a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt has passed away on Wednesday June 17, 2020 at the age of 59.

Deborah was born in Lancaster SC to parents, Clarence "Grady" and Kathleen Ellis on April 6, 1961. Deborah is preceded in death by both her parents; her brother, Clarence Ellis; her grandson, Larry Nearing, III; and her lovely Aunt Mae.

Deborah built a life with her husband, Larry Nearing and their children, Crystal, Elizabeth, Larry Jr., and Lori. Deborah worked as a CNA nurse at Magnolia Manor most of her life, she always found joy in caring for others. If you needed her, she was just a phone call away.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Larry Nearing, Sr.; her children, Crystal Nearing (Brian Young), Elizabeth Watson (Drew), Larry Nearing (Brittany), Lori Nearing (Princess), and her stepdaughter, Melissa Nearing, all of Rock Hill. Her loving siblings, Stonie Ellis (Susie) of Rock Hill, Albert Ellis (Sandra), Diane Duncan (Eddie) all of Lancaster, and Denise Wagoner (Keith) of York; and her sweet Aunt Lynn of Heath Springs. Deborah has a host of beautiful grandchildren that loved her dearly: Savannah, Keith, Katie, Hannah, Haley, Lawrence, Cameron, Austin, Shawn and her little shadow, Caileigh. Deborah also had 5 great grands who were her pride and joy. She will be greatly missed.

The Celebration of Life Service for Deborah will be 3:00 pm Saturday, June 20, 2020 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Doug Pate.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home and other times at the home of Liz and Drew Watson.
