Ms. Deborah Hunt, age 75 passed away on Tuesday October 20, 2026. She was born on September 14,1951 in Davidson County, NC, a daughter of the late James Warfford and the late Helen Ruth Musgrave Warfford.

Deborah was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She cherished her children and grandchildren dearly. Deborah will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Deborah enjoyed spending hours beachcombing for shark teeth and shells, she also enjoyed gardening and quilting. Deborah was like an angel on earth; she enjoyed crocheting hats and blankets for the babies in the NICU at local hospitals. She also enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. Deborah was also a member of Clear Creek Militia Chapter, NSDAR.

Debora’s greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, who affectionally called her “Gam”. It did not matter if they were shopping, or just sitting on the couch watching movies, she was the happiest when she was with her grandchildren.

Deborah is lovingly survived by her daughters Amy Hunt Bushnell and her husband Michael, and Anna Hunt Hunter and her husband Nat; her two grandchildren Adah Hunter and Lawton Hunter; her brothers Randy Warfford and Jamie Warfford.

She is preceded in death by her husband Douglas Fred Hunt; her parents, James and Helen Warfford and her brother Paul Warfford.
