LANCASTER, SC~ Mrs. Deborah Kaye Stogner Ward, age 68, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Presbyterian Medical Center.  She was born September 11, 1952 in Chincoteague, VA, a daughter of James Brown Stogner "Pop" and the late Mary Bull Stogner and was the wife of the late John Ward.  Debbie enjoyed doing crafts, working in her garden, planting flowers, taking pictures, and making books and collages with them, going to the beach, and collecting dream catchers.  She was a fantastic cook.  Watching her nephew dirt track race was one her most favorite things to do.  Debbie was a nurturing, loving, caring, amazing woman who touched everyone who knew her.  She never met a stranger and loved everyone.  Debbie was the heart of her family.  Her fur baby, Emma was her best friend and she loved her dearly.  There are not enough words to describe just how loving Debbie was to her family and friends.

Debbie is survived by two daughters, Tina Phillips, and LeAnne Phillips McCraw (Dean); her father, James Brown Stogner; eight grandchildren, Luke McClain, Justin Jackson, David Alan Jackson, Jacob Jackson, Logan McCraw, Gavin McCraw, Dillon Knight, and Krista Knight; two brothers, David Stogner (Cynthia), and Scott Stogner (Lisa); a sister, Sheila McManus (John); numerous nieces and nephews; and many close friends.

Debbie was preceded in death by her husband, John Ward; a daughter, Candace Knight; and her mother, Mary Stogner.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Debbie will be 4:00 pm Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Destiny Bible Church officiated by Pastor Stephen Braswell.  Mask will be required at the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations may be made in Debbie's name to Destiny Bible Church, 2422 Flat Creek Rd., Lancaster, SC 29720.
