LANCASTER, SC ~ Ms. Deborah "Debbie" G. Walker, age 53, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021 at MUSC-Lancaster. She was born December 31, 1967 in Lancaster, SC, the daughter of Barbara Scott Griffin and the late Roger Charles Griffin. Debbie was a dreamer, a lover, and a fighter who fought for what she believed in. Her family will remember her as having a free spirit who loved her family and friends dearly. Debbie loved traveling to South Port and to the beach. She enjoyed sitting by the fire and she enjoyed watching her television shows. Debbie lived a simple but an amazing life. She loved her church and church family. Debbie was a member at All for One Church.

Debbie is survived by her mother, Barbara Griffin; two daughters, Kristin Brasington (Aaron), and Kelly Roberts (Josh); three grandchildren, Kaylin Brasington, Grayson Brasington, and Emma Roberts; and her fiancé, Taylor Hinson.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Roger Charles Griffin.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 2:00pm at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Michael Anderson.

The family ask to please wear a mask, and practice social distancing while attending the service.
