LANCASTER, SC ~ Ms. Debra "Debbie" Jo Usher Adams, age 66, passed away Monday, July 10, 2023. She was born March 4, 1957, in Lancaster, a daughter of Winnie Jocelyn Helms Askew and the late Don Bob Usher. Debbie loved to work in her flowers, watch the hummingbirds, and loved all animals. She was a member of the Moose Lodge where she enjoyed being with her friends. Debbie was a kind, loving, caring person who loved to take care of others and spend time with friends and family. Family was number one to her and she loved them all dearly. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

Debbie is survived by her mother, Winnie Jocelyn Askew and stepfather, Tim Askew of Fort Lawn; her partner, Ronald (Kuzz) Auton; two step brothers, Michael Askew of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Timmy Askew of Washington, NC; niece, Angela Stikeleather (Lee) of Fort Lawn; was beloved Mimi to Karlei, Liam, Morgan & McKinley; and many aunts, cousins and friends.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Bob Usher; and brother, Keith Usher.

The Celebration of Life Service for Debbie will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, July 13, 2023, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Tim Anderson.  The family will receive friends from 1:00pm - 2:00pm, one hour prior to the service, at Burgess Funeral Home.
