LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Walter Dean Cason, age 56, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021.   He was born September 22, 1964, in Staunton, VA, a son of Judith Bailey and the late Stuart Hannaford Cason. Mr. Cason was an entrepreneur.  He was a hard-working man who was very dedicated to his work. Mr. Cason enjoyed NASCAR and the beach. His family will remember him as a "Legend" in his time and someone who always made a way.

Mr. Cason is survived by his two daughters, Taylor Dean Cason, and Morgan Dean Cason; his mother, Judith Bailey (David); a brother, Stuart Hansford Cason, Jr. (Brenda); three sisters, Carole Vaught Thompson, Cindy Moats (Donnie), Judianne Ann Conner (Steve); several nieces and nephews; and the mother of his children, Kimberly Peterson.

Mr. Cason was preceded in death by his father Stuart Hansford Cason.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Mr. Cason will be 11:00 am Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 13, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Friday, at Burgess Funeral Home.  For those who desire, memorials may be made to Burgess Funeral Home, PO Box 1743, Lancaster, SC 29721 to help with the expenses of Mr. Cason's funeral.
