LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Melissa Dawn Williams Saverance, age 55, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, April 25, 2022.  She was the daughter of Michael "Mike" Gray Williams and the late Ruby Joyce Sowell Williams and was the wife of Julian Ellis Saverance. Dawn enjoyed shopping, country music, getting her nails done, and hanging by the pool. She loved all her family dearly, especially her three daughters. She loved to spend time with her daughters, taking them to all their dance competitions and their fun beach trips every summer, and always being their number one fan. Dawn was a member of Second Baptist Church.

Dawn is survived by her husband of 32 years, Julian Saverance; her three daughters, Madeline Gray Saverance, Carsyn Elise Saverance (Fiancé, Connor Faile), and Macie Shea Saverance; her father, Mike Williams; her brother, Derrick Gray Williams (Wife, Holley); her niece, Michal-Claire Williams; and special friend, Julie Sigmon.

Dawn was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Williams, the daughter of Clyburn and Ruby Sowell.

The Celebration of Life Service for Dawn will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Second Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Brian Saxon and Dr. David Carlton. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 27, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00pm at Burgess Funeral Home.
