MONROE, NC ~ David Ryan Simpson, age 41, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Hospice of Union County, Monroe, NC. He was born March 30, 1978, a son of Charlie and Shelley Simpson. Ryan was a very special young man. He was loved and cared for by many wonderful people in his lifetime.

In addition to his parents; Ryan is survived by his brothers, Ty Simpson (Christie), Lee Simpson (Natalie), Andy Simpson (Kristie), Eric Simpson, Jonathan Simpson, and Daniel Simpson; six nephews; a niece; many aunts and uncles, who were important in Ryan's life; and maternal grandparents, Ray and Margaret Parker of Marshville, NC.

Ryan was preceded in death by his sister, Michelle Deanne Simpson; and paternal grandparents, Charlie and Beatrice Simpson.

The Celebration of Life Service for Ryan will be 2:00 pm Saturday, March 21, 2020 at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Marshville, NC.
