LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. David Nathanael Schumann, Jr., age 65, passed away Monday, January 04, 2021. He fought a courageous battle with COPD and emphysema and is now resting in the arms of his Savior. David was born April 24, 1955 in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of the late David Nathaneal Schumann, Sr. and Priscilla Keup Schumann and was the husband of Michele Moeller Schumann. David was a Systems Analyst/Programmer at Springs Industries. He enjoyed working in his yard and was very good at it. He had a keen sense of humor and loved his family dearly. He played the oboe and sang in the Chamber choir and also his church choir. He was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church.

David is survived by his wife, Michele Moeller Schumann; two daughters, Heather Maradei (Dennis) of Blythewood and Amy Meadows (Justin) of Frederick, Maryland; five grandchildren, Emily, Addison, Catherine, David, and Harrison; and three sisters, Kris Pudwell (Rick) of Tennessee, Debbee Henry of Texas and Priscilla O'Donnell (Robert) of Colorado.
