CAMDEN, SC ~ Mr. David Wayne Sawyer, age 73, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021.  He was born November 4, 1948, in Rock Hill, SC, a son of the late Calvin Sawyer and Virginia Sutton Sawyer and was the husband of Sheree Guy Sawyer. David was a professional wrestler "Buzz Avalanche Tyler" with NWA, Crockett Promotions, and Central States.  He was an avid Gamecock fan and enjoyed riding motorcycles.  His family was very important to him and he loved his children and grandchildren dearly.

David is survived by his wife, Sheree Sawyer; three sons, Mitchell Hovis (Kristen), Jason Thurmond (fiancée Beth Rogers), Matthew Sawyer (Megan); two daughters, Jenna Estridge (Bryan) and Felicia Sawyer; nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, his brother, Danny Ray Sawyer (Debra); and his sister Gail Tishey (Blaise).

David was preceded in death by a grandson, Tolson Alexander; and his parents.
