FORT LAWN, SC :::::::::: Mr. David Eugene "Gene" Pardue, age 73, died Friday, October 18, 2013 at Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born October 2, 1940 in Lancaster, the son of the late Leon Pardue and Ida Richardson Pardue. Mr. Pardue was a mechanic, of the Baptist faith and served our great country in the United States Navy.

Mr. Pardue is survived by a son, Jonathan Casey and his wife Kate of Fort Lawn, a daughter, Amanda Insley of Maryland, a brother, Mike Pardue and his wife Candy, a sister, Jane Blackmon all of Lancaster, and three grandchildren, Samantha and Emily Casey and Natalie Insley.

Mr. Pardue was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Pardue, Harold Pardue and Leonard Pardue and a sister, Ann Dagenhart.

The Family will receive friends from 3:00 - 6:00 pm Thursday, October 24, 2013 at the home of Jane Pardue Blackmon, 1207 Snow Drive, Lancaster. Burial will be private and in lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Zion United Methodist Church, 1665 Zion Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.

The Family will receive friends from 3:00 - 6:00 pm Thursday, October 24, 2013 at the home of Jane Pardue Blackmon, 1207 Snow Drive, Lancaster.
Burial will be private.
