LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. David Brian Denyer, age 88, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on October 31, 1930 in New Brunswick, NJ a son of the late Ernest James Denyer and Dorothy Grace Till Denyer and was the husband of Eleanor Jane Palmer Denyer.  Mr. Denyer was a devoted husband and father. He was a Missionary for over 35 years with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Brazil and JAARS and used HAM radio to keep in touch with other missionaries in the field. Mr. Denyer was a very talented artist where he was able to share the gospel through his chalk art ministry.  He enjoyed gardening, spending time with his dogs, camping, and swimming, which he continued to do until just a few years ago.  Mr. Denyer was a charter member of Covenant Baptist Church.

Mr. Denyer is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jane Denyer; a son, Tim Denyer and his wife, Darlene of Lancaster; three daughters, Esther Phillips and her husband, Robert of Loudon, NH, Lois Hudson and her husband, David of Witter, AR, and Deborah Raynor and her husband John of San Francisco, CA; a sister, Doris Denyer of Folsom, PA; twenty grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Mr. Denyer was preceded in death by his parents.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Denyer will be at 5:00 pm Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Covenant Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Bobby Strother.  Burial will be private at Lancaster Memorial Park.
