ROCK HILL, SC::::::::: Mr. Darryl Ray Hinson, Sr., age 49, died Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. He was born January 12, 1966 in Lancaster, a son of Charles R. Hinson and Brenda Funderburk Hinson and was the husband of Nancy Hopkins Hinson. Mr. Hinson graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science Degree and was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Hinson is survived by his wife, Nancy Hopkins Hinson of Lancaster; his parents, Charles R. and Brenda Funderburk Hinson of Lancaster; a son, D. J. Hinson of Rock Hill; a granddaughter, Aria Hinson; a brother, Jeffrey Hinson and his wife, Melissa and their son, Rayf Hinson also of Lancaster.
The family will hold a private memorial service for Mr. Hinson at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Springhill Baptist Church, 2245 Old Camden Monroe Highway, Lancaster, SC 29720.
