GREAT FALLS, SC :::::::: Mrs. Daphine Hanna Sistare, age 68, died July 17, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. She was born April 15, 1944 in Lancaster County, the daughter of Mary Dawkins Hanna and the late Levander Hanna and was the wife of the late Brown Sistare. Mrs. Sistare retired from Springs Industries and was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Sistare is survived by her mother, Mary Dawkins Hanna of Lancaster, 4 sons, Bobby Sistare and wife Chrissy of Lancaster, Christopher Sistare and wife Christen of Great Falls, Tommy Johnson of Lancaster, and Jamie Johnson of Richburg, 4 daughters, Susan Sistare of Great Falls, Donna Sistare of Lancaster, Chasity Sistare of the home, and Ann Airington of Monroe, 6 brothers, Charles Hanna of Lancaster, John Robert Hanna of Kershaw, Earl Hanna of Charlotte, Roger Hanna of Lake Wateree, Rev. Ernest Hanna of Gastonia and B.J. Hanna of Cheraw, 2 sisters, Gail Cockran of Fort Mill and Joyce Roberts of Lancaster, 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Mrs. Sistare was preceded in death by a sister, Nan Mackey.A Celebration of Life Graveside Funeral Service for Mrs. Sistare will be 3:00 pm, Friday, July 20, 2012 at Lancaster Memorial Park by Rev. Ernest Hanna. The Family of Mrs. Sistare will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:30 pm, Friday, July 20, 2012 at Hartley Burgess Funeral Home and the family suggests memorials be made to a Charity of One's Choice.
