LANCASTER, SC :::::::::: Mr. Danny Leroy Flowers, age 59, died Monday, July 29, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center. He was born in Lancaster, the son of the late Leroy Logan Flowers and Mildred Bundy Flowers Epperson and was the husband of Penny Stroud Flowers. Mr. Flowers worked in construction, was a member of Freedom Freewill Baptist Church and past President of Masters Men.

Mr. Flowers is survived by his wife, Penny Stroud Flowers of the home, 4 children, David Walters and Branon Walters of Lancaster, Corey Walters of Rock Hill, and Keri Walters of Charleston, 2 sisters, Jeanette Flowers Lloyd and her fiancé Paul Medley of Lancaster, and Sue Flowers Yow and her boyfriend Charlie Whitaker, 6 grandchildren, 2 nieces, a nephew and 6 great nieces and nephews.

Mr. Flowers was preceded in death by a son, Brandon Logan Flowers and a grandson, Tyler Wayne Walters.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Flowers will be 3:00 pm, Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Freedom Freewill Baptist Church by Rev. Mitch Ingram.

The Family of Mr. Flowers will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 Thursday, August 1, 2013 in the Life Center and in lieu of flowers suggest memorial contributions to National Kidney Foundation, Finance Dept. 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016 or www.kidney.org.
