Indian Land, SC ~ Daniel Ralyea Sr., of Indian Land, South Carolina, passed on Monday February 14, 2022 at home at 80 years old. He was born on January 29, 1942 in Buffalo, New York. He attended Canisius High School, and Niagara University. In 1961, he married Judy Payne, and together they had 3 children, Daniel (Tina), Christopher (Becki) and Elizabeth (John). Daniel was re-married to Susan nee Havens in 1978, and they had a daughter, Katherine (Steve). Daniel had 12 grandchildren, Christopher Jr., Robert, Cece, Keeley, Elizabeth, John, Cash, Olivia, Victoria, Lenore, Jacqueline, and Marguerite.

Daniel worked as a restaurant designer/ salesman at Ralyea-Heckman and Buffalo Hotel Supply. He prided himself in developing extraordinary restaurants. He was a member of the Buffalo Launch Club. A generous soul, Daniel thoughtfully enjoyed adopting families for Christmas. He will be greatly missed. Daniel is survived by his wife Susan, brothers Richard (Diane) and Peter (Bonnie), and 4 children. Daniel was predeceased by his father, John, and mother, Lenore, and two of his brothers John II (Barbara) and B. William (Sally decd.).

A funeral mass will be held at noon at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church on Monday, February 21, 2022. Reception to follow.

A memorial service will be held in Buffalo, NY at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made in Daniel's name to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
