LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Daniel James Muscarella, age 62, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021, in the care of Hospice with his loving wife Gwen by his bedside. He was born March 7th, 1959, in Springfield, Massachusetts, a son of Vanita Leora Duguay and the late Francis Joseph Muscarella Sr. He was son-in-law to Miriam Windham and the late Harmon Jr. Windham. Dan enjoyed being with his family, playing with his grandsons, fishing, hunting, gadgets, rescuing dogs with Gwen, carpentry, traveling, and fixing anything and everything.

Dan is survived by his wife of 37 years, Gwen Muscarella; his child, Misty Ochotny and husband Shane; two grandchildren, Grayson and Graham; his mother, Vanita Duguay Muscarella; his brothers Frank Muscarella (Debbie), Alan Muscarella (Patty), and Larry Muscarella (Beth); nieces and nephews including Chrystal Muscarella (Brittany), Amber McKim (Ryan), Adam Muscarella (Julie), Jenn Savtiz (Christopher), Curtis Muscarella (Jacquelin), Rocco Muscarella (Raquel), Alan Tyler Muscarella, Ashley Oswald (Victor), Brandi Muscarella, Breeze Muscarella, Harley Vincent Muscarella and Brandi Lynn; and his fur babies.

Dan was preceded in death by his father, Francis Joseph Muscarella Sr., his sister, Tammy Muscarella, and brother Vincent Muscarella.

The Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00pm, Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Larry Helm.

His family will receive family and friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 pm Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Burgess Funeral Home.
