LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mr. Daniel Leslie "Danny" Caskey, age 59, died Friday, August 1, 2014. He was born October 27, 1954 in York County, the son of the late James Leslie Caskey, Jr. and Eva Owens Caskey. Mr. Caskey loved photography and was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Caskey is survived by a sister, Deborah Caskey Cutshaw and her husband Toney of Indian Land, a sister in law and caregiver, Rhonda Caskey of Lancaster, two nieces, Holly Caskey Geiter and her husband Paul of Lancaster and Mary Beth Helms Henson and her husband Terry of Fort Lawn, two great nephews, Brandon E. Pettus and Michael
Caskey-Floyd, a family friend, Kristen Ward of Lancaster and many cousins.

Mr. Caskey was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Mae Owens, his paternal grandparents, James Caskey, Sr. and Alma Giles Caskey and a brother, Michael Edward Caskey.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Caskey will be 3:00 pm, Monday, August 4, 2014 at Burgess Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Rick Cope. Burial will follow at Faith Baptist Church Cemetery.

The Family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 2:00 - 3:00 pm, at the funeral home and suggest in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to The Children's Tumor Foundation for Neurofibromatosis at www.ctf.org.

The Family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Springs Memorial Hospital for the care they have given to Danny.
