LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Connie Crawford Lane, age 85, of Lancaster, SC passed away on June 25, 2019 at MUSC-Lancaster Medical Center.  He was born on December 29, 1933 in Lancaster, a son of the late Robert Walter Lane and Minnie West Lane.  Mr. Lane enjoyed woodworking and going on trips with his church.  He loved being a part of the In-Home ministry of the church, where he visited the seniors.  Mr. Lane was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church.

Mr. Lane is survived by two sons, Eric Lane (Phyllis) and Brett Lane (Missy); seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and three brothers, Bill Lane (Brenda), Glen Lane and Bobby Joe Lane.

Mr. Lane was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Lane; his parents; three brothers, Robert Cecil Lane, Theo Lane and Joseph William "J.W." Lane; a sister, Gernell Pegram; a brother-in-law, Ernest Pegram; and two sisters-in-law, Flonnie Lane and Joyce Lane.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Lane will be 2:00 pm Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Camp Creek Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Randy Mellichamp.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Camp Creek Baptist Church, 998 Potter Rd., Lancaster, SC 29720.
