LANCASTER, SC – Mr. Clyde Franklin Watts, age 82, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024 at his home. He was born December 1, 1941, in Lancaster, a son of the late Willie Henry Watts and the late Mary Ellen Outen Watts. Mr. Watts proudly served in The United States Army. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on small engines and boats, racing, and working in his garden.

Mr. Watts is survived by his two sons, Mark Watts, and his wife, Dorothy, and Jerome Watts, and his wife Cheri; six nephews, Charles Watts, Bryan Watts, Chris Watts, Scotty Watts, Jeffery Watts, and Randy Watts; his sister-in-law, Helga Watts; and his brother-in-law, Lane Wright.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Mary Watts; his sister, Nina Jo Wright; three brothers, Jack Watts, John Watts, and Mike Watts; his niece, Patricia Bowers; and his nephew, Rodney Watts.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Watts will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Immanuel Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
