LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Clyde "Rooster" Milton Knight, age 88, passed away Monday, January 13, 2020 at White Oak Manor-Lancaster.  He was born on April 25, 1931 in Lancaster, a son of the late Clyde Knight and Estes Mungo Knight and was the husband of the late Helen Byrd Knight.  Mr. Knight enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, working in his garden, and buying and selling at auctions.  He could fix anything, and he was owner/operator of Brooklyn TV Sales and Repair.  He served his country in the United States Army.  Mr. Knight was a charter member of Crestview Baptist Church.

Mr. Knight is survived by his son, Dale Knight (Vivian) of Chapin, SC; two daughters, Marlowe Taylor (George) of Montmorenci, SC, and Christie Baker (Jerry) of Fort Lawn, SC; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a sister, Connie Pananick of California.

Mr. Knight was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Helen; his parents; and a brother, Ted Knight.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Knight will be held at 11:00 am Friday, January 17, 2020 at Crestview Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Casey Swails.  Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.
