LANCASTER, SC – Mr. Clyde "Bruce" Craig, age 91, passed away Friday, August 8, 2025. He was born November 9, 1933, a son of the late James "J.C." Craig and the late Susie Arrington Craig and was the loving husband of Royce King Craig. Bruce was always a quiet and loving person who very much enjoyed hunting, fishing, meeting new people, and most of all, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Bruce served in the Korean Conflict for two years and then served in the National Guard as Sergeant First Class for twenty-eight years. He also served as the R.A. leader and was affectionately known as "Dictator" to everyone. Bruce was a member of White Springs Baptist Church where he served as the boys' Sunday School teacher, a deacon, and head usher.

Bruce is survived by his wife of almost 69 years, Royce King Craig; his son, Tim Craig (Pam); his three daughters, Laura Bailey (Bubba), Jennifer Beard (Neal), and Myra Boone (Greg); his three grandsons, Michael Boone (Hannah), Clayton Boone, and Zac Craig; his great-grandchildren, Sawyer and Tatum Boone; his siblings, Evelyn Rhodes, Mildred Abernathy, Martha Griffin (Emsley), Donnie Craig (Virginia), Irene Hammonds, and Wayne Craig (Dianne); a brother-in-law, Troy Melton; a nephew, Phillip Ingram; along with other numerous nieces and nephews; and his loving extended family, Jim and Sadie Catoe and their family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Susie Craig; a sister, Doris Melton; a brother, David Craig; and his bonus son, Colonel John David Catoe.

The Celebration of Life Service for Bruce will be 11:00 am Monday, August 11, 2025, at White Springs Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Lynn Hough, Pastor Brad Threatt, and Rev. Bobby Henderson. Burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, at White Springs Baptist Church in the Family Ministry Center.
