LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Clarice Clack Mackey Knight, age 76, died Saturday, June 4, 2016 at her home. She was born October 31, 1939 in Lancaster County, a daughter of the late Kay Mackey and Ada Sims Mackey and the wife of the late Charles Edward Knight. Mrs. Knight was retired. She worked for Marathon Boat Manufacturing Company, where she helped assemble boats. Mrs. Knight loved her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, especially her flower garden. She had a green thumb when it came to her flowers. Mrs. Knight was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Fork Hill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Knight is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Rhyner and her husband, Mike; three grandchildren, M. Seth Rhyner, Ashley Knight Melton and her husband, Phillip and Andrew Todd Knight; three great grandchildren, Lexan Grace Melton, Carson Todd Melton, and Cannon Phillip Melton; a sister, Gennie Lynn Mungo; and a daughter-in-law, Susan M. Knight.

Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her former husband, Charles E. Knight, the father of her children, a daughter, Angela Kay Knight; a son, Charles Todd Knight; and a sister, Marcene McManus

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mrs. Knight will be 11:00 am Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Hyde Park Baptist Church by Rev. Charlie Simpson., and Rev. Rod Yow.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service from 10:00 11:00am in the church memorial center and suggest memorial contributions be made to Hospice and Community Care PO Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731.
