CHARLOTTE, NC – Mr. Charles "Chuck" Robert Cochran, age 69, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, December 8, 2023. He was born, December 31, 1953, in Birmingham, AL, a son of the late William Earl Cochran, Jr. and Jeanne Campbell Cochran and was the husband of Marlene Sue Hooks Cochran. Chuck enjoyed playing golf, playing base guitar with his friends, cooking, reading, and working in his yard. He had a quick dry wit and loved making others laugh. Chuck was a wonderful provider, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was very thoughtful, kind, supportive, generous, and loved to give. Chuck was a member of Eastway Drive Church of God in Charlotte, NC.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 43 years, Marlene Cochran; his son, Charles Robert "Rob" Cochran, Jr. (Kristen); his daughter, Heather Noble (Brian); two grandchildren, Jonah Noble and Daniel Cochran; a brother, Tommy Cochran (Mary); a brother-in-law, Tracy Cress; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Cochran; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Butch Cochran and Steve Cochran; and his sister, Nancy Cress.

The family will celebrate Chuck's life privately.
