ROCK HILL, SC ~ Mrs. Chrystal Gulledge Faile, age 90, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021, at her daughter's home.  She was born November 2, 1930 in Ruby, SC, a daughter of the late James Arthur Gulledge and Rosa Lee James Gulledge and was the wife of the late Modie Faile "Happy Jack".  Mrs. Faile loved her family, especially her grandchildren who lovingly called her "Little MawMaw". She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, working puzzle books, and fishing.  Mrs. Faile also volunteered with Red Cross Blood drives.  Church was very important to her and she loved being a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Fort Lawn.

Mrs. Faile is survived by her two daughters, Robbie Wright (Ron) of Rock Hill, SC, and Janice Honeycutt (David) of Kannapolis, NC; three grandchildren, Jake Henry Wright (Stacy), Zackary Elliott Wright, and Bryson Foster; three great grandchildren, Owen Henry Wright, Josephine "Josie" Lorabeth Wright, and Genevieve "Ginny" Janetta Wright; a niece, Loretta Huneycutt; a nephew, James Rorie; and several great nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Faile was preceded in death by her husband, Modie Faile; her parents; her brother, Henry Gulledge; and two sisters, Bessie Rorie, and Frances "Polly" Payne.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Mrs. Faile will be private.
