LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Christopher "Chris" Michael Lewis, age 48, passed away Monday, November 1, 2021 at MUSC-Lancaster.  He was born January 15, 1973, in Lancaster, SC, a son of Diana Henderson Lewis and the late John L. Lewis. Chris enjoyed fishing, camping, and hiking. He loved being outdoors. He also enjoyed drawing in his free time and was very interested in Tattoo's.

Chris is survived by his mother, Diana Henderson Lewis; a son, Andrew Lewis; two daughters, Baylee Lewis (Kenneth Blystone), and Gracyn Lewis; and two grandchildren, Bently Sims, and Everlee Lewis.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, John L. Lewis; and his brother, Eric Lewis.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Chris will be 2:00 pm Saturday, November 6, 2021, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Randy Mellichamp.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at Burgess Funeral Home.
