LANCASTER, SC::::::: Mrs. Christine Hinson Marshall, age 89, died Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born September 30, 1926 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Irby B. Hinson and Pearl Small Hinson and was the wife of the late James Hazel Marshall. Mrs. Marshall retired from Springs Industries and enjoyed baking and cooking. She loved spending time with her family and friends and was a member of White Springs Baptist Church.

Mrs. Marshall is survived by a son of Lancaster; a daughter of Florida; two grandchildren, one of Florida and one of Pennsylvania; and a great grandchild of Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; a brother, I. B. Hinson, Jr. and a sister, Irene Roberson.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Marshall will be at 2:00 pm Friday, September 30, 2016 at White Springs Baptist Church by Rev. Don Waldrop and Rev. Donald Tillman. Entombment will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 pm Thursday evening, September 29, 2016 at Burgess Funeral Home and suggests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to White Springs Baptist Church Family Life Center, 1249 Grace Avenue, Lancaster, SC 29720.
