PAGELAND, SC ~ Mr. Christopher Columbus Wright, 60, of Pageland, SC, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021 in Rock Hill at The Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.  He is the son of the late William Clarence Aldridge and Etta Carol Knight Aldridge.

A service to celebrate the life of Chris Wright will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 11:00 am at Liberty Freewill Baptist Church.  Rev. Tim Larrimore and Bro. Wayne Snipes will be officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the home of Betty A. Freeman at 3442 Thompson Road, Lancaster and also one hour prior to the service at the church.

Chris is survived by five sisters, Geraldine A. Donahue and her husband, Ronald of Raleigh, NC, Peggy Casey of Lancaster, Linda Small and her husband Bruce of Lancaster, Betty A. Freeman of Lancaster, and Brenda Collett of Charlotte, NC; and is preceded in death by one baby sister.

Chris is the biological son of the late Joseph Carol Wright and Lillie Mae Cagle Wright of Pageland, SC.  Chris is survived by one biological sister, Joann Poston of Lancaster and two brothers, Dennis Wright and Ricky Wright of Lancaster, SC.  In addition to his biological parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Thomas and two brothers, Danny Wright and Chucky Wright.

In lieu of flowers, all money donated will go towards a prayer garden in honor of our brother, Chris Wright.  Thank you for your love, prayers and support during the loss of our baby brother, Chris.
