LANCASTER, SC ~ Charlotte R. Hammond, age 63, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 6, 2024, at MUSC Lancaster in Lancaster, South Carolina. She was born October 05, 1961, in Salisbury, North Carolina, the daughter of the late James (Jim) Kolb and Carol Kolb. She worked for Barnett Family Practice as an X-ray tech. She loved flowers, reading, computer games, and crocheting in her free time. She was a member of Union Baptist Church.

She was a loving wife to the late Steven W. Hammond, mother to Robert Hammond, Caroline Hammond (Rabon), Christopher Kolb, James (Jamie) Kolb, and Elizabeth Hammond, and grandmother to Steven Rabon, Dalton Rabon, and Bryan Jones, Trinity Kolb, and friends to many.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Union Baptist Church. Following the service, the family will receive friends at 4869 Taxahaw Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720.
