PINEVILLE, NC :::::::::: Mr. Charlie Brown, age 90, died Sunday, February 14, 2010 at Pineville Rehabilitation where he was a resident. He was born October 2, 1919 in Alto, TX the son of the late Willie Brown and Joella Tillan Brown and was the husband of the late Willie Curry Brown. Mr. Brown was a retired Power Truck Driver for Rockwell International, a member of Church of God and Christ and served our great country in the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Brown is survived by 2 daughters, Audera Clark and her husband Terance of Fort Mill, and Erica Waldington of Pomona, CA, 2 sons, Ricky Brown of San Fernando CA, Willis Ray Brown of Kansas City, MO, 22 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by 2 sons, Billy Charles Brown, and Willie Brown, and a daughter, Patricia Townsend.The Celebration of Life Graveside Memorial Service for Mr. Brown will be 11:00 am Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
