LANCASTER, SC :::::::: Mr. Charles Nicky Knight, age 74, died Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Palmetto Richland Hospital in Columbia. He was born January 16, 1939 in Lancaster County, the son of the late Charles F. "Zeb" Knight and Mary Caston Knight and was the husband of Jean Privette Knight. Mr. Knight was a Mason with Antioch Lodge 399 and has served as Past Master and Secretary. He retired from the United States Air Force as Master Sergeant after 20 years of service and later retired from Springs Industries. Mr. Knight enjoyed bluegrass music, traveling and camping and was a member of Crestview Baptist Church.

Mr. Knight is survived by his wife, Jean Privette Knight of the home and a sister, Libby K. Oliver and her husband Wade of Lancaster.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Knight will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Crestview Baptist Church by Rev. Scott Robinson, Dr. Darrell Thompson and Rev. Ron Avant. Burial with full military honors will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The Family of Mr. Knight will receive friends prior to the service, from 12:30 - 2:00pm in the church fellowship hall and suggest memorial contributions be made to Crestview Baptist Church Building Fund, 2228 Douglas Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
