HEATH SPRINGS, SC ~ Mr. Charles Richard Crawford, age 75, died Monday, July 12, 2021 at his home. He was born December 7, 1945 in Summerville, SC, the son of the late Rev. Sidney Richard Crawford and Iva Elizabeth "Betty" Harper Crawford and was the husband of the late Jennett Crosby Crawford. Mr. Crawford served in the United States Army for three years. His favorite hobby was to cut grass, his family will always remember him as the "Grass Cutting King". He loved his old cars and helping others. Mr. Crawford loved all his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a devoted father and grandfather. Mr. Crawford was a faithful member of Flint Ridge Baptist Church.

Mr. Crawford is survived by his son, Chris Crawford (April) of Heath Springs; three grandchildren, Dale, and Casey Crawford, and J.J. Deese; a great-grandchild, Mason Dale Crawford; four siblings, Iva Mintz (Carl), Jane Evans (Larry), Palmer Crawford (Eva), and Melinda Nall (Russ).

Mr. Crawford was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Jennett Crosby Crawford; and his parents, Rev. Sidney and Betty Crawford.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Crawford will be 1:00 pm Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Flint Ridge Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Jerry Broughton and Rev. Danny Martin. Burial will follow at Bennett's Family Cemetery in Heath Springs, SC.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Burgess Funeral Home.
