LANCASTER, SC :::::::: Mr. Charles "Charlie" E. Knight, age 73, died Sunday, September 16, 2012 at his home. He was born February 25, 1939 in Lancaster County, the son of the late Robert Marshall Knight and Mamie Hammond Knight. Mr. Knight retired from Cal-Maine Foods in Bethune and worked security at USC-L and was a member of Fork Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Knight is survived by his wife, Clarice Mackey Knight, a son, Todd Knight of Heath Springs, 2 daughters, Kimberly Rhyner and her husband Mike and Angela Knight both of Lancaster, 2 brothers, David G. Knight and his wife Jerry and Gerald "Jerry" Knight and his wife Mary both of Lancaster, 2 sisters, Frances Horton and her husband Lawton of Rock Hill, and Ruby Anne Hinson and her husband William of Lancaster, 3 grandchildren, Seth Rhyner, Ashley Melton and her husband Phillip and Andrew Knight, and a great grandchild, Lexan Grace Melton. Mr. Knight was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Willie Burrel Knight and James R. Knight and 2 sisters, Mary Ellen Rogers and Mildred Ellis. The Celebration of Life Graveside Funeral Service for Mr. Knight will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Fork Hill Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Bill Knight.
