LANCASTER, SC ~ Charles Lamar Catoe, age 72, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice.  Charles was born August 23, 1948 in Lancaster.  He was the son of the late Huey Catoe and Alma Adams Catoe.  Charles enjoyed working with cows and in his hay fields, bailing, and hauling hay.  He was a simple country man.

Charles is survived by his son, Chris Catoe; six brothers, Bobby Catoe (Santa), Phillip "Gator" Catoe (Aurelia), Jerry "Jake" Catoe, Billy Catoe (Kim), Donald Catoe (Abby), and Jimmy Catoe (Cindy); two sisters, Betty Jo Rushing (Jack), and Brenda Catoe; a brother-in-law, Tim Williams; and many nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Larry Catoe, and Travis Catoe; and two sisters, Pat Wallace, and Dottie Williams.

The family will hold a private Celebration of Life for Charles.
