LANCASTER, SC – Mr. Chandler Selden Owen, age 77, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022. He was born October 22, 1945, in Columbia, SC, a son of the late Robert James Owen and Eva Young Owen and was the husband of the late Teresa Catherine "Cathy" Bigham Owen.  Mr. Owen loved traveling to the beach and going to Carowinds. He enjoyed fishing and watching football and baseball. He was an Atlanta Braves and Carolina Gamecock Fan.

Mr. Owen is survived by his son, Robert "Robbie" Owen of Irmo, SC; his brother, Robert "Bob" Edwin Owen (Deborah) of Lexington, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Owen was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Owen; his parents, Robert and Eva Owen; and his sister, Eva Ann Sloan (Jim).

The Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Mr. Owen will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Abney Baptist Church Cemetery officiated by Dr. Jason Moss. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
