LANCASTER, SC ~ Ms. Catherine "Catie" Jean Lowery, age 48, passed away September 1, 2025. She was born June 23, 1977, in Lancaster, SC, daughter of Wanda Jean Lowery. Catie enjoyed camping at Edisto Beach, SC and she adored her fur babies, Greg and Laylah.

Catie is survived by her mother, Wanda Jean Lowery; her aunts, Melinda Polston and Sandra Estridge (Brian); her uncles, Dennis Lowery and David Lowery; and a whole truckload of cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hazel Lowery and Jean Lowery; and an aunt, Sharon Lowery.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Catie will be 3:00 pm Sunday, September 7, 2025, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home, officiated by Barry Estridge.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Burgess Funeral Home.
