LANCASTER, SC ~ Carolyn Stacks Watts age 74, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Carolyn was born on September 15, 1950, in Lancaster, SC, a daughter of the late Raymond Stacks and Dorothy Ellis Stacks and was the wife of the late Michael Lee Watts. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church where she loved her church family. Carolyn enjoyed spending her time playing games on her computer, fishing, and being with her boys. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, wife, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend to many.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Chris Watts (Kendra); her two grandsons, Ryan Watts and Brady Watts; her sister, Elaine Mills; and her brother, Dennis Stacks (Debbie).

She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Watts; her son, Rodney Watts; her parents, Raymond and Dorothy Stacks; her two sisters, Kathy Benton and Betty Lou Grant; and her brother, Bobby Jo Stacks.

The Celebration of Life Service for Carolyn will be 2:00 pm Sunday, June 29, 2025, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Patrick Blackmon. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the home of Elaine Mills.
