INDIAN LAND, SC ~ Mrs. Carolyn Ruth Bandy Neale, age 86, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022. She was born October 12, 1936, in War, WV, daughter of the late George Robert Lawrence Bandy and the late Mildred Harr Bandy and was the wife of the late Donald Jackson Neale. Mrs. Neale retired from National Employees Federal Credit Union after 50+ years as a manager. Mrs. Neale enjoyed sewing, traveling, and was active in the Summit Players theater group. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild. Mrs. Neale was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Bluefield, WV where she was very active in her church.

Mrs. Neale is survived by her two children, Steven Lawrence Neale (Kellianne), and Phillip Jeffrey Neale (Linda); two grandchildren, Benjamin Donald Neale (Erin), and Madison Blue Gladden (Matthew); and one great-grandchild, Westlyn Blue Gladden; her sister-in-law; Betty Duff; and her special friend, Lois Mustard.

Mrs. Neale was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Neale; her parents, George and Mildred Bandy; and her brother, Bobby Bandy.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Neale will be 11:00 am Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at The Chapel of Mercer Funeral Home in Bluefield, WV. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Mercer Funeral Home.
