LANCASTER, SC~ Mrs. Carol Simpson Walters, age 73, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021.  She was born September 19, 1948 in Wadesboro, NC, a daughter of the late Harold Mitchum Simpson and the late Colen Adaline Hinson Simpson and was the loving wife of Michael Bost Walters.  Mrs. Walters was the owner/operator of Carol's Salon & Beauty for 28 years. She was the former President of Shiloh Zion Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Walters loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Unity A.R.P Church.

Mrs. Walters is survived by her husband of 55 years, Michael Walters; her son, Chad Walters (Jacque); her daughter, Kelly George (Ralph); and four grandchildren, Landon Walters, Calen George, Blake Walters, and Amelya George.

Mrs. Walters was preceded in death by her parents; two grandchildren, Preston George, and John Ralph George III; son-in-law Jamie Wilson; and her brother, Ken Simpson.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Walters will be Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 3:00pm at Unity A.R.P Church officiated by Rev. Charles Hammond.  Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Burgess Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Unity A.R.P Church, Building Fund, 3495 Unity Church Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
