LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Carol Babbino Seufert, age 77, passed away September 12, 2025, at the MUSC- Lancaster Medical Center. Carol  was born April 8, 1948, the daughter of the late Angelo Babbino and the late Dorothy Willmont Babbino.  Carol was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished every moment spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She found joy in playing games on her tablet, solving crossword puzzles, and completing word searches. Carol was a proud member of the ladies' birthday club, she delighted in celebrating her friends with annual lunches at their favorite restaurant. Shopping was one of her favorite pastimes. Above all, she was happiest when surrounded by the love of her family.

Carol is survived by her husband of 53 years, Gary Seufert; two daughters, Shawn Renyhart (Donald) and Shelene Gross (Justin); five grandchildren, Zachary Renyhart, Jonathan Renyhart, Dylan Gross, Emma Gross, and Hunter Gross; two step-sons, Jeff Allen (Elena) and Richard Masci (Alice); five step-grandchildren, Nicole Allen, DJ Masci, Tyler Masci, Brent Masci, and Joshua Masci; a step-great grandson, Max Masci; her sisters, Linda Caldas, JoAnn Gargano, and Connie Olish; her brother, Charles Babbino; and many special nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Angelo Babbino and Dorothy Babbino; and her sister, Diana Studley.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 21, from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Burgess Funeral Home.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mrs. Seufert will be 3:00 pm Sunday, September 21, 2025 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Ed Thomas.
