LANCASTER, SC~ Mr. Carl Edward Vincent, age 76, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Presbyterian Hospital. He was born November 18, 1941, the son of the late Coleman Lee Vincent and June Elizabeth Beaver Vincent and was the husband of Marjorie Phillips Vincent. Mr. Vincent loved to play golf and had 4 holes-in-one. He was a member of the Lancaster Breakfast Rotary Club, the Chamber of Commerce and was a HOPE volunteer. Mr. Vincent loved his family, his church and his friends. He was a Sunday School teacher and member of Covenant Baptist Church.

Mr. Vincent is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marjorie Phillips Vincent; a son, Darrell Lee Vincent and his wife, Tammy; a daughter, Sharon Teague; five grandchildren, Megan Vincent, Lee Vincent, Sidney Teague, Samantha Teague and Taylor Teague; and two sisters, Nancy Hinson and Sandra Holden.

Mr. Vincent was preceded in death by his parents.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Vincent will be 3:00 pm Monday, January 29, 2018 at Covenant Baptist Church by Rev. Larry Twitty. The family will have a private burial.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm- 3:00 pm, prior to the service, in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to Covenant Baptist Church, PO Box 578, Lancaster, SC 29721.
