LANCASTER, SC –Mr. Carl Koch, age 76, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023. He was son of the late Raymond Koch and Laura Forster Koch and was the husband of Elizabeth McFadden. Carl served in the United States military during the Vietnam War, and he received a White House Merit award.

His wife, Elizabeth McFadden, was the prime beneficiary of 38 years of nuptial bliss, and has publicly proclaimed that, not only is her beloved husband and best friend, Carl Koch, is better looking than Sean Connery. Carl has been her pillar of strength, her capable help mate in all these 38 years of affection and dedicated fidelity, and the principal reason for her ability to maintain her sanity and peaceful calm. The union of their marriage is a triumph of joy.
