KERSHAW, SC ~ Carl James Beason, age 73, passed away June 20, 2019.  He was born December 7, 1945 in Oakridge, TN, a son of Helen McGuirt Beason and the late Fred Beason.  Mr. Beason was a retired Computer Software Specialist and former Professor at York Technical College. He enjoyed traveling and craftsmanship.  Mr. Beason was of the Christian faith.

Mr. Beason is survived by two sons, James F. Beason and his wife, Carisa, of Virginia, and Keith A. Beason and his wife, Tachini, of Kershaw, SC; a daughter, Carole J. Beason and her husband, Michael Tansey of San Diego, CA; four grandchildren, Christian, Felicia, Dayna, and Chase; his mother, Helen M. Beason; two brothers, Fred Beason and Joe Beason; and a sister, Helen Grace Mutshler.

Mr. Beason was preceded in death by his wife, Carole Edith Beason; and his father, Fred Beason.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.
